Park Meghlo is being created on the site of a historic nursery, in the middle of the village of Megchelen. The five-hectare park, with a tree stock of about 80 species, will be freely accessible to the public. The park is intended as a green experience, partly preserving facets of the old nursery. The construction of cycling and walking paths will connect Park Meghlo with ‘Huis Landfort’, a historic estate. In addition to the development of the park, 46 new houses will be built in and around the park, with landscape-typical construction taking centre stage. This means the houses will be integrated into the landscape.
