A four-hectare piece of farmland in Hummelo has been transformed into a natural landscape. The area with beautiful height differences includes meadows, heathland, rough grass, wild flowers, an orchard with old fruit varieties and space for walking. The various parts of the site have been approached as a whole in the design, with existing elements being retained as much as possible and blended naturally into the landscape. A unique landscape design element is the ha-ha, where the meadow slopes down to 1.20m below ground level towards the house. This difference in height is compensated with an accumulation of sods, providing an uninterrupted view of the animals grazing in the meadow on the other side.
