Nico Wissing and Lodewijk Hoekstra (NL Greenlabel) designed a garden for the Floriade in Venlo in 2012 with NL Greenlabel. They invited several companies and people to help with the realisation of this garden. The municipality of Doetinchem adopted the Floriade garden and relocated it to the Amphion Park, in the centre of Doetinchem. The garden offers space to picnic, grow vegetables, play sports, study, meet each other or to just relax on a bench. All products and materials are from NL Greenlabel partners and have a sustainability label, making the garden unique of its kind. This public green paradise continues to grow in a dynamic and interactive way: a connecting factor in the city.
